I've been watching repeats of The Bill from the very beginning on Drama. It's now on the fourth series (from 1988), and earlier today I watched the episodes broadcast last Thursday. One of them, titled 'Conflict', featured a maroon 280ZX from beginning to end.
It was parked at the side of the road for most of the first half of the episode, but in the second half it was involved in a bit of a chase and otherwise a bit of sharpish driving on wet roads. The only slight disappointment was that it didn't get sideways - and it did have a couple of opportunities - but it did look and sound absolutely fantastic. I'm sure I must have seen that episode when it was first broadcast, and thinking about it it must have at least partly contributed to my love of Zeds - happy days.
